About Dr. Adam Bletsoe
I’m a chiropractor, but the way I work has changed over time.
I still care deeply about the body, movement, hands-on care and physical function. But after more than twenty years in practice, and through my own experiences with persistent pain, I’ve learned to look wider.
Pain is rarely just one thing. So when we work together, we pay attention to your body, your nervous system, your confidence, your recovery, your beliefs, your stress, and the life you’re trying to get back to.
The story behind the work
Like many practitioners, my early understanding of pain was shaped by structure, movement, joints, tissues, posture, strength and mechanics.
Those things still matter. I still love hands-on care. I still love movement. And I still love helping someone experience their body differently.
But clinical experience has taught me that persistent pain often asks us to look beyond one body part, one scan, one diagnosis, or one simple explanation.
Sometimes the body needs treatment. Sometimes the system needs confidence. Often, people need both.
What changed
My own experiences with symptoms and pain gave me a deeper appreciation for what patients live with every day.
Pain can affect how you move, how you think, how much you trust your body, what you say yes to, and what you slowly stop doing.
That changed the way I listen. It changed the questions I ask. And it changed how I help people decide what to do next.
Body-mind chiropractic
It doesn’t mean pain is “all in your head.” It means your body and your life are connected, and both deserve to be understood.
When we work together, I want to understand what hurts, what it means to you, what you’ve already tried, what you’re worried about, and what you want to get back to.
From there, we can decide what’s most useful. That might include hands-on chiropractic care, movement, strength, education, nervous system regulation, mind-body approaches, or gradually returning to something you’ve stopped trusting your body to do.
There isn’t one treatment everybody needs. We figure out what makes sense for you.
How I work
I prefer having enough time to listen, assess, explain, work with your body, and help you leave with something useful.
I don’t want to assume I know why you hurt before I’ve met you.
We look at your body, symptoms, history, confidence, stress and goals.
Care may include hands-on work, movement, education, regulation or practical steps forward.
Each step should help your body experience more capability, trust and life.
The goal
Of course pain relief matters. But most people don’t only want a better pain score.
They want to drive, walk, travel, exercise, work, sleep, play with their kids, sit through dinner, go to yoga, take the trip, or stop planning their life around what their body might do.
Start where you are
Come as you are. We’ll listen, assess, understand what’s happening, and decide together what to do next.
